Supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, depression, and life transitions with compassion and evidence-based care.

Our Mission
At More Than a Feeling Therapy, my mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I strive to create a space that is thoughtful, supportive, and empowering — where clients feel seen, heard, and equipped to make meaningful change.

About me
Welcome. I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is warm and collaborative, grounded in evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapy.
I completed post graduate training at St. John’s University (certified in TF CBT and CBT Plus), earned a Child and Family Therapy certification from NYU, and hold certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Therapy does not have to be cold or clinical. I strive to create a space that is thoughtful, supportive, and tailored to your needs — where meaningful growth feels possible.

FAQs
How often do we meet?
Sessions are typically scheduled one time per week; however, I am able to meet with clients twice per week upon request. Consistency of sessions is most beneficial in effectively meeting treatment goals.
Are my sessions confidential?
I respect and value your confidentiality; all sessions are confidential, with the exception that you are a danger to yourself and/or others. Additionally, it is important to note that for in-network clients, information related to diagnosis is required to be shared with insurance providers for billing purposes.
Confidentiality and its parameters will be further explored during initial session to ensure transparency.
How long will therapy take?
Length of treatment is unique to each client and guided by several factors including: severity/duration of the challenge experienced and the frequency of sessions.
What is your cancellation policy?
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If cancellation occurs less than 24 hours in advance, you are responsible for the full fee of the session.
What is your therapeutic approach?
I take a collaborative and client-centered approach, utilizing my clinical training in relational orientation, CBT+, and TF-CBT models that lead to a deeper understanding of behaviors, progress and change in order to meet your therapeutic goals.

Individual therapy is $150 for 45-minute session.

Speaking with your insurance provider about benefits can feel intimidating, please see below list of questions that may help to ease the process.
After calling the number on your insurance card, you may want to ask:
-What is my annual deductible?
-How much of my deductible have I already met for the year?
-What is my co-pay?
-How many sessions are covered per calendar year?
Out-of-network
If out-of-network, your insurance provider may cover a portion of the fee; the portion covered is dictated by your plan. I will provide you with all of the documentation necessary to be submitted for reimbursement.
It is recommended that you speak with your provider to ensure reimbursement. In addition to the aforementioned questions, it may also be helpful to inquire:
-What percentage am I reimbursed for routine behavioral health care out-of-network?
-How do I file a claim to submit for reimbursement?
